About Life Count Up

Understand your life in numbers: your days, your work and your money, told as one story.

Why we built it

Most calculators answer one question and forget you. You type your birthday into one site, your salary into another, and none of them connect the dots: how many of your days went to work, what each of those hours was really worth, and how long until your savings reach the next milestone. Life Count Up keeps one small profile, on your device, and lets every calculator use it.

How we keep the math right

Every formula is published on How we calculate and covered by automated tests that run before every deploy. We use real calendar dates (leap years included), state every default, and let you change all of them.

How we keep your data yours

• Calculators work without an account. Nothing you type is sent to us.
• Share cards are drawn in your browser and show rounded numbers, never your birthday or exact amounts.
• Signing in with Google is optional and only for saving moments and syncing across devices. You can delete everything at any time.

Tick is a clock and stands for time. Penny is a coin and stands for money. On the Work pages they appear together, because work is where time turns into money.
